BOYS AND GHOULS COLLECT MORE THAN 5,000 MEALS FOR ST. MARY’S AT RAWHIDE “ZOMBIE FEST”

They may not have looked so nice, but St. Mary’s wishes to thank all those who took part in the first Phoenix “Zombie Fest” to benefit the Food Bank Sunday night at Rawhide in Chandler. Dozens of the undead staggered their way around Rawhide before taking part in a Zombie “Beauty Contest” designed to celebrate the macabre at its best.

Our thanks to Christine Heintz, of the Phoenix Zombie Fest and all those who helped make this event successful. Enough cash and food was collected to feed more than 5,000 of Arizona’s hungry. And it looks like from this FOX 10 news clip that everyone had a scary good time.
