SECOND ANNUAL COURTYARD CASINO NIGHT RAISES MORE THAN 40,000 MEALS FOR COMMUNITY
St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance would like to thank the Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn for serving as wonderful hosts for the second annual Casino Night and Mini-trade Show on Oct. 26.
Thanks to networking groups like Deer Valley Connections, North Valley Connections and Central Connections, the turnout for this year’s event was much larger. That, in addition to a wonderful array of donated silent auction prizes allowed the event to raise more than $5,700 – a big increase over the inaugural event and enough to provide more than 40,000 meals to the hungry of Arizona.
A big “thank you goes out to Maggie Jolly, Anne Niemiec, Martina Ward (all pictured above) and everyone at the Marriott Courtyard for all their efforts in making this event really take off. And they would like to thank all their clients, guests, colleagues and business partners that attended the event.
Local businesses were instrumental in making the event a big success, with fabulous silent auction prizes donated from the community helping the event really take off. Special thanks to Creations & Cuisine Catering, Streets of New York, Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings, Paradise Bakery and Pacific Events for their donations and efforts.
