St. Mary’s will be at the National Guard Armory on Sunday, Nov. 7 to distribute some of the more than 2,000 holiday food boxes earmarked for needy families of the wounded, deployed and all branches of active military in Arizona.
The annual “Turkeys For Troops” program will include turkeys donated by the University of Phoenix, Salute a Soldier and others and each family with receive a St. Mary’s Holiday Food Box filled with canned pantry items, products, breads, pastries and all the trimmings necessary for a traditional holiday meal.
On behalf of those who make it possible through their donations of cash and food, it is our honor at St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance to salute these Arizona heroes and their families and make sure they have a full holiday meal to share with their loved ones.
