Event will showcase tasty cuisine from Glendale restaurants
TASTE Glendale’s Culinary Festival announced that tickets for the highly anticipated event went on sale today, Feb. 9. The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, March 5, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale, at the corner of 58th Avenue and Glendale Avenue. TASTE Glendale’s Culinary Festival – presented by HDE Agency – will give participants the opportunity to taste, savor and enjoy the delicacies of Glendale’s finest eating establishments.
More than 30 area eateries and food purveyors will join forces to tantalize and dazzle Glendale residents at the culinary spectacular. This signature Glendale event will showcase the city’s Downtown Dining District, and is viewed as a boost to the local economy. According to Local First Arizona, for every $100 spent on goods and services at a locally-owned business, $73 remains in the Arizona economy.
TASTE Glendale’s Culinary Festival is presented in partnership by HDE Agency, North Valley Magazine, Larry Miller Toyota, Cruz Tequila, Smart Water, Snapple, Into the Soup, and Alliance Beverage Distribution. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.
“TASTE will highlight the local chefs and regional cuisine that represent Glendale as a culinary destination,” said Landon Evans, President of HDE Agency. “We embrace the culinary arts and are proud to produce a unique culinary event format to Glendale residents and businesses.”
