If You’re “Feelin’ Groovy” March 18-20, Help The Phoenix Symphony and St. Mary’s Fight Hunger

The Phoenix Symphony, in conjunction with the League of American Orchestras, will be holding a food drive to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance before their March 18-20 performances of “Feelin’ Groovy: A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel” at Symphony Hall.

Before the 8 p.m. shows that Friday and Saturday, as well as the 2 p.m. show on Sunday, St. Mary’s volunteers will be in the lobby of Symphony Hall collecting cash and non-perishable food donations to feed Arizona’s hungry. Volunteers will also be at Symphony Hall before the Phoenix Symphony’s performance of “The Rhythm of the Earth” on Saturday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m.

Last year, this drive collected over 1,300 pounds of food for the hungry of Arizona. If you are planning to attend, please remember your food donation or keep in mind that every dollar donated give the Food Bank the ability to distribute seven meals into the community.
