Phoenix Symphony Helps St. Mary’s In a Very “Groovy” Way Beginning tonight

This weekend, The Phoenix Symphony will be performing a tribute to Simon & Garfunkel with a cool, one of a kind show called “Feelin’ Groovy” featuring Jim Witter (above). And at all three performances, the Symphony will be holding a canned food drive to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.

Before the 8 p.m. performance tonight and Saturday night as well as the 2 p.m. show on Sunday, March 20, St. Mary’s volunteers will be at Symphony Hall collecting cash and non-perishable food donations. Volunteers will also be collecting donations prior to the “Rhythms of the Earth” performance at 2:30 p.m. on March 19.

Help The Phoenix Symphony – in conjunction with the League of American Orchestras – and St. Mary’s feed Arizona’s hungry, and enjoy what promises to be a great show. If you saw Witter’s “Piano Men” show at Symphony Hall last year, you know how great he is. See you this weekend!
