Dysart High School hosted their annual “No Bowl Should Go Empty” event on March 8th to benefit the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance’s Kids Cafe ® program. The event was a great success, currently raising over $1,000 already – with even more bowls left to sell.
Event goers enjoyed a delicious dinner at the school, and got to take home a bowl hand-made by the Dysart High students, in order to remind everyone of the one in four hungry children in Arizona who may not have anything in their bowls to eat tonight.
St. Mary’s would like to thank the Dysart High School students and staff who participated in this event for helping St. Mary’s fight hunger in Arizona. Kids Cafe caters more than 3,000 nutritious meals a day to school aged children and youth who may not know where their next meal is coming from.
St. Mary’s and Demons, working together to distribute enough food for 7,000 meals. What a devilish idea!
