Welcome to The Daily Platter! I hope you visit again, for a few reasons.
1) We’re going to have stuff to say. I will be posting often, along with a group of guest bloggers. It would be a drag if no one read what we’re up to.
2) We’re interesting. Our founder, John van Hengel, developed the concept of food banking (more on that later) that has spread throughout the world.
3) We’re involved. St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance is deeply involved with the community. This is a great place to learn about how you can get involved in the lives of others. Not much is as fulfilling as making a difference, don’t you think?
